Shipping & Delivery Policy

​1. Introduction
 
At Memento Books Pty (LTD), we strive to provide a smooth and reliable shipping experience. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the shipment and delivery of our products within South Africa.
 
2. Shipping Timeframes

  • Artwork Pickup: Customers are responsible for packing their artworks. Once the package is ready, they must notify us. We will schedule the pickup within 24 hours of notification, and collection will occur within 1 to 2 business days.

  • Final Product Delivery: Once the product is ready for delivery, customers can expect to receive it within 2 to 5 business days, depending on the delivery method chosen and the delivery address’s proximity to major urban centers.

 

3. Delivery Providers and Service Areas

  • We offer delivery through a selection of courier services, including Courier Guy, Pudo, Ram, Internet Express, Skynet, Fastway, and Bobbox.

  • We deliver to all areas within South Africa that these courier services cover. For a detailed list of coverage areas and exclusions, please consult the respective courier’s website.

 

4. Tracking and Notifications

  • Customers will receive tracking information via email after their shipment is scheduled. The selected courier will also provide status updates throughout the delivery process. For additional tracking, customers can access their shipment status directly through the courier’s tracking service.

 

5. Additional Fees

  • All delivery and pickup fees are included as specified at the time of checkout. No additional fees or customs charges apply to our deliveries within South Africa.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Availability for Delivery and Pickup: Customers must ensure that they are available at the specified address for both the initial pickup and final delivery. In cases where the customer is unavailable, it is their responsibility to reschedule. Failure to be available may result in extra charges for missed delivery or pickup attempts.

  • Accurate Contact Information: Customers must provide accurate contact details to ensure successful delivery. Couriers may contact customers if necessary, so correct phone numbers and email addresses are essential.

  • Prohibited Goods and Safe Packaging: Customers must ensure that their shipment does not contain dangerous or prohibited items and that it is safely packaged to minimise the risk of damage or loss during transit.

 

7. Lost or Damaged Items

  • Damage During Transit to Us: If artworks are lost or damaged while being shipped to us, Memento Books will issue a full refund. Customers must provide photographic evidence of any damage within 7 days of receiving the final product.

  • Incorrect Orders: If customers receive an incorrect order, we will arrange for a return shipment of the incorrect item and promptly deliver the correct order at no additional cost.
